Interactive web events will introduce you to individuals living with chronic illness and disabilities who are living their best lives, making connections through social networks and organizations, and advocating for themselves and others. They will share information and resources to empower you to do the same. You will have direct access to experts on chronic pain, mental health, relationships, disability, employment, veterans’ benefits and more.

You are not alone. Individuals living with chronic illness and disabilities often experience feelings of powerlessness, whether it is a real or perceived lack of power. The True Help Empower Web Series is designed to help you identify and increase your power resources.

Join us for True Help Claiming Power to Improve Your Finances, Thursday, Oct. 20 at 12 p.m. CST.

The program will give you information and tools to increase your power resources of:

  • Hope
  • Motivation
  • Knowledge
  • Self esteem
  • Psychological stamina
  • Social support
  • Finances

  • National Stroke Association
  • Caregiver Action Network

Living with a chronic illness and/or disability often leads to increased healthcare costs and related expenses. At the same time, your income may decrease or disappear completely if you cannot continue working.
