In his executive leadership roles, Rich Plass oversees claims operations, information technology, customer service, veterans disability appeals, and strategic growth and continuous improvement initiatives across Allsup. He also directly oversees operations and growth of Allsup’s wholly owned subsidiary, Allsup Employment Services (AES). AES is a Social Security Administration-approved Employment Network and federal contractor, which provides return-to-work assistance to Social Security disability beneficiaries. Plass reports to Dave Zura, president and chief operations officer.
Plass joined Allsup in May 2016 and directs strategic planning and project management for new concepts, revenue enhancements and organizational evolution within Allsup and its subsidiaries, including expansion services and solutions for customers and business clients. His focus is developing and driving innovative business concepts that ensure successful implementation of long-term growth strategies.
He has more than 15 years experience in strategy, leadership and information technology positions. Previously he was a vice president at Express Scripts, the St. Louis-based pharmacy benefit management company. He also held leadership and technology positions with AT&T Services. His expertise is built around helping organizations transform business processes to produce better results and crafting new growth strategies.
Plass has a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. He and his wife, Jessica, and two daughters live in St. Louis. He also is a member of the board of directors for Boys Hope Girls Hope in St. Louis.
