Belleville nonprofit welcomes new president and CEO Natalie Jablonski with 26th annual golf tournament at St. Clair Country Club

Belleville, Ill. — Aug. 18, 2016 — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois is seeking a few more golf teams for its 26th annual golf tournament, the 2016 Allsup Classic, set for Monday, Aug. 29, at St. Clair Country Club in Belleville.

The Belleville nonprofit organization’s annual fundraiser provides players and sponsors with an introduction to Natalie Jablonski, who recently joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as president and CEO. She previously worked 10 years in various roles at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, including most recently as executive director of mission and integration.

“We’re seeking golfers and sponsors for our very important mission of helping children who are at risk to face adversity and thrive through the mentoring relationships they form with their Big Brothers and Big Sisters,” said Natalie Jablonski. “I’m excited to lead the mission and join our community in helping children to succeed as the new president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois.”

Over the years, the Allsup Classic has raised more than $1 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters, which uses the proceeds to match children with adult mentors in St. Clair, Madison, Clinton and Monroe counties. The golf tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch and a shotgun start at noon. The $195 entry provides golfers with green fees, cart, lunch, beverages, dinner, prizes, a putting contest and skins. Hole-in-one prizes include a vehicle from Jack Schmitt car dealers.

Golfers may contact Anna Grimm at (618) 398-3162 or annag@peaknet.net to register.
